The Research Of Investigable Interrogation Language

Investigable interrogation is an investigable means which is used by investigable institutions such as police station, to interrogate the suspect by spoken language face to face, in this way; they can collect the evidence, expose and confirm the crime following the juristic method in order to verify the truth of the criminal case. So, we can see, investigable interrogation is an special form of dialogue by spoken language, it has its own characteristics which are different from other dialogue forms both in the members who take part in the dialogue, the relationship among them and the purposes of the members who take part in the dialogue and so on. I have been working as a policeman for ten years, so I had chances to take part in the process of interrogate the suspects and collected a lot of practical information. According to sorting various investigation records and picking out the cases which are valuable, I analyze and research the interrogation language as thoroughly as I can, combining with the knowledge of language theory and language appliance in four aspects as follows: The special characteristics of investigable interrogation language; The analyses and appliance of context of investigable interrogation language; The structures and the semantic effects of interrogative sentence used by investigation subject and the relationship between investigable interrogation psychology and investigable interrogation language. In this way, I try to conclude some regular and practical methods and techniques of language which were used in investigable interrogation in order to do contribution to the investigable interrogation work in some extent.This paper is made up of six parts:Part 1: Preface. This paper makes a comprehensive survey of the achievement in the language research of investigable interrogation, confirm the research range of this topic, ensure the logic and method of research, and introduce in resource of the language material in this paper.Part 2: The language of investigable interrogation. This paper mainly expounds the relationship between investigable interrogation and the language of investigable interrogation as well as the influence of the investigable interrogation's characteristics to the language of investigable interrogation. And we put our attention on the characteristics of the language which were used in investigable interrogation in the perspective of the cooperative principle and politeness principle.Part 3: The limitation to the elements of investigable interrogation language by the context of investigable interrogation. In this phrase, we mainly discuss the context of interrogation; illustrate the relationship and difference between common context and interrogation context, device the context into language context and non-language context, and analyze this problem by abundant practical cases. We also discovered the special characteristics of interrogative sentence used by investigation subject. So, according to the semantic relationship reflected by interrogative sentence used in investigable interrogation, we device the interrogative sentences in three types: repeat question, remind question and continual question, and we use the practical examples to analyze the structure and the effect of these questions.Part 4: The appliance of non-language context in investigable interrogation. The core elements of investigable interrogation composed of factors which have no relationship with investigable interrogation language but have close relationship with the meaning of investigable interrogation. In this part, we mainly explained the appliance of non-language elements in this four aspects: vision,time,location and the people involved.Part 5: The investigable interrogation psychology and the language strategy. In this part, we discuss the relationship between investigable interrogation psychology and investigable interrogation language. We emphasized the various psychological situations and language characteristics of interrogation objects as well as the language strategies used by interrogation subjects, all kinds of psychological biases interrogation subjects owned and the influence of these biases to the investigable interrogation language and effectiveness. Furthermore, we suggested the methods to correct these biases and expound the dynamic characteristic in the process of investigable interrogation.Part 6: Conclusion. We summarize all the aspects of this paper in the last part, suggest the deficiency in the research and the requirements for the further research.
