The Study Of Yunnan Mongolian Kazhuo People's Language Attitudes

Yunnan Mongolian Kazhuo people in mixed small settlements environment,long-term contact with the neighboring nation,who say Kazhuo language now,also speak Chinese,of which there are some Kazhuo people saying surrounding Yi language.Under this background,the author researched language use and language attitudes of Yunnan Mongolian Kazhuo people Kazhuo language,Chinese and surrounding Yi,and the analyzed the social factors of language use and language attitudes.Finally looked at the relationship between the Kazhuo people language attitudes and language use.There are some problems.Firstly,what are the factors that affect Kazhuo people use their language?Like the age,gender,occupation and culture.Secondly,what attitudes does Kazhuo people hold towards these different languages?Is there any differences?If any,What are the factors that caused the different language attitudes?Thirdly,is there any correlation between the use of language?Through investigation and data analysis,draw the following conclusions:Firstly,the factors affect Kazhuo people using their languages including language skills and language use occassions.The highest language skill of Kazhuo people is Chinese,followed by the Kazhuo language,and the lowest is surrounding Yi language.From the perspective of language use occasions,the scope of Chinese is becoming bigger and bigger form inside of family to outside of family,and from the village to the town;while the Kazhuo language is the opposite.Kazhuo people say surrounding Yi language under these circumstances that they intermarried with the surrounding Yi family,and the older generation contacted with surrounding Yi people over a long period of time.And their language ability and language use occasions affected by gender,age,occupation and education degree.Secondly,we looked at main elements of language attitudes.As far as language emotion,Kazhuo people the mostly recognized Kazhuo language,followed by Chinese,and the lowestly recognized surrounding Yi language.Chinese position is highest,followed by the Kazhuo language,position of the surrounding Yi language is the lowest.Chinese is the most useful and Chinese function is the most strong,followed by the Kazhuo language,function of the surrounding Yi language is the lowest.And they are more willing to learn Chinese,followed by Kazhuo language,they are a little willing to learn the surrounding Yi language.Generally speaking,evaluation of Kazhuo people's Chinese attitudes is the highest,followed by evaluation of Kazhuo attitudes,evaluation of the surrounding Yi attitudes is the lowest.And the three language attitudes affected by the gender,age,occupation and education degree.Thirdly,language attitudes and language use of the Kazhuo people influenced each other.Evaluation of Kazhuo people's Chinese language attitudes is the highest;their Chinese level is the highest;kazhuo people Chinese use more formal occasions-government agencies,schools banks and hospitals.We looked at the Kazhuo language:evaluation of Kazhuo people's Kazhuo language attitudes is lower than evaluation of Chinese attitudes,and it is higher than evaluation of the surrounding Yi language attitudes;their Kazhuo language level is lower than the Chinese level,and it is higher than the surrounding Yi language;Kazhuo people's Kazhuo language use is with Kazhuo people each other in more family and village.Their evaluation of surrounding Yi language attitudes and surrounding Yi language level are the lowest.use occasion of Kazhuo people's surrounding Yi language that they intermarried with the surrounding Yi family,and the older generation contacted with surrounding Yi people over a long period of time.Just because of the synchronic study,the author deem that the language attitudes and language use are influence each other,and there are a visible positive correlation.Moreover,their language attitudes and language use affected by social factors that they are gender,age,occupation and education degree.That is to say,the author analyzed the Kazhuo people's language attitudes and language use by the social factors,and find that they also are influence each other,and there are a visible positive correlation.
