According to the developmental trend of the investment funds, the scale of the open fund has greatly surpassed the close fund. In some of the western counties and regions and those places, which have a perfect financial market for example United States, Japan and Hong Kong, the open funds are adopted. However, lacking of both subjective and objective conditions, most of the investment funds in China are close funds. Meanwhile, it's an obsolete trend that the investment fund will change from close to open with the realization of the conditions. Furthermore, in order to enquire into and research the development and operation of the open fund in China, the author have compared the few experimental open funds domestically and analysed the development, operation and management mode of open fund in China.
