This paper reviews controversies regarding linkage of international trade and worker's rights. Somewhat, labor standards have linkage with international trade. Trade between developed countries and developing countries increases speedily in the context of large disparities in labor standards between them, for low labor cost is the comparative advantage of developing countries. Pressures for international harmonization of labor standards arise as the developed countries' employment rates in traditional industries decline. The developed countries suggest that labor standards in developing countries should be raised by integration of labor standards in international trade legal systems, so that unfair competitiveness from developing countries can be retarded. Initiating from protection of worker's rights and the linkage between international trade and worker's right, this Paper emphasizes to discuss the issue of worker's rights which affect product price during international trade; analyses the status of regulations of labor standards in the present international trade legal systems; gives the trend of regulating their linkage on the view of international level; and still points out our nation's achievement in protecting worker's rights and shortcomings.
