E-business creates a virtual global market through the exchange of information on line, which is transforming the mechanism of international trade. It gives opportunities to some enterprises that had no advantage in location or scale before.China's enterprises should make the most of this good opportunity to participate positively in the competition of the world market. However, the laggard logistics prevents the development of E-business in China. Logistics, which is a double-edged sword, decides whether E-business will turn to be a success. E-business calls for modem logistics.E-business covers a wider scope than E-commerce and ".com" business. When E-business has simplified the interchange of information, fund and property, logistics becomes the hot issue. Logistics and E-business has close relationship and mutual influence. After analyzing the logistics development of some advanced countries, the dissertation discusses improvements and problems of China's logistics. Finally, it presents corresponding suggestions under the environment of E-business.This dissertation has five chapters. Chapter 1 clarifies the conception of E-business and presents its basic process. Chapter 2 analyzes the relationship between E-business and logistics. Chapter 3 shows the world trend of logistics by studying the situations in the US, Europe and Japan. Chapter 4 concludes improvements and problems of China's logistics. Based on successful experience, Chapter 5 explores corresponding solutions to the improvement of China's logistics so as to accelerate the development of E-business.
