Research On The Adapting Changes Of Chinese Farmers' Behaviour And Thinking

With the establishment and development of market-oriented economy of China, Chinese farmers' behaviour and thinking have changed greatly , in which some are fit for the requirement of the economic development , but some aren' t . So it' s of great significance to study the change for Chinese government to improve the economic decision and management, to promote the city and rural development as a whole, to speed the building of China-featured overall well-off society ;for enterprisers to adjust tactics and enforce the competing ability according to the change of living and producing mode of farmers; for the farmers to adjust their behaviour and thinking so as to follow the reform by improving their human quality.With the social and academic background ,this article investigates and studies the farmers' behaviour and thinking changes of their activities of consuming, giving birth to children, adjusting of agricultural industry , going out to employ in cities , co-operation with others. And regards that farmers have good changes toward the reform aims in behaviour and thinking: The traditional idea that money isn' t so important as feeling is changed , they regards money is necessary and important in daily life and production; they are as important as the society ; they are open-minded and change their former attitude that competing is unnecessary and intend to compete. However, there also exist more unsuitable behaviour and thinking: the fitting degree is small and low ;the expectation about future isn' t stable and uncertain, their psychological pressure is great; contingency comes into being , farmers can' t be sure of the happenings , they have to follow others and think they were living happily in the old days and now they aren' t ;cultural collision is great ,they feel hard to follow the change of time ;the system is changing .their living pressure is large ; the felling of living on the edge is obvious with the emergence of gap of the rich and the poor; they feel the human feeling is disappearing and become alone in the competing. The factors influencing the changes are the following: traditional culture; institutional barrier; the function of government isn' t correct; the market isn' t perfect; the farmers quality isn' t good. Then thearticle puts forward to the following ways to adjust: establish and improve the social ensurance system in the country so as to get rid of the fear of disturbance of the rear ; increase the income of the farmers to increase their confidence on future ;develop the consumption credit and decrease their psychological pressure ;develop the rural human resources to improve their adapting ability ;change the structure of the city and country to get rid of their feeling of living on the edge . At last, the article draws the conclusion that most of the farmers' behaviour and thinking isn' t conforming to the market-oriented economy , however , it' s the inevitable result of their rational choose in the specified living and producing condition .
