Study On Enterprise Knowledge Management

Knowledge management (KM) is a new managerial mode in knowledge -based economy epoch, which is centered on human being and based on information resources, measured by information technology and aimed for innovation. It has become the fundamental means for enterprise's improvement of the kernel competitive capability and sustainable development.The background of the study on Enterprise KM are illustrated in the thesis, the overall introduction of the concepts concerning enterprise KM and summary development of KM are given too. The thesis reviews the important theories of KM and then, introduces the development of globle informationization and information technology platform, retraces the development of American information technology, reveals that information technology and facilities are the base of enterprise KM and further discusses various society conditions of enterprise KM . The thesis analyzes the organization and circulation of enterprise KM, reveals its circulation mechanism and function. At the same time, the HP company's KM practice are taken for an example to introduce the advanced experiences and measures of western famous enterprise's KM. On the basis of the above study, the thesis analyzes the present situation of Chinese enterprise's technology base and society condition for KM practice, points out the existing problems too. Further studies are made on government's function on the advancement of enterprise KM and many countermeasures are recommended to Chinese enterprise KM practice finally.
