The Consideration Of Developing "MICE" In China

"MICE" already become a rather mature industry in abroad which as a new concept arose only after 1990 in China. With the economic development, it has brought great impact on Chinese economics and living. As a new economic phenomenon and a new growth point of economic development, " MICE" has been paid close attention. In the face of such case, it showed great necessary to study its connotation and characteristic, analyze its existence conditions, and compare the modes between oversea and China, then find out a workable mode to fit our cities.This paper started from the general introduction of "MICE" , and pointed out the basic term which should be provided for developing " MICE" , sueh as location advantage, resource advantage, economic advantage, circumstance advantage, and industry advantage etc. Then analyzed the status quo of "MICE" in China and in the world, and indicated that China should be the leading actor of "MICE" in 21 century. So this paper put forward one kind of optimize mode on the basis of stressing the existent problems at the present tirae in China, compared some operate modes in the world, then show that the foeus of developing "MICE" in our country is to found a national institute, cultivate the vital region and cities, make the connection among government, institute and enterprise clear and develop the attitude of brand, so that to realize the market operate in deed.
