The private economy has been an important part of our national economy after more than 20-year development. With the accession to the WTO, the further reformation and opening in the beginning of 21 century, the private economy gets the unpreceding opportunities for developing as well as great challenges. The challenge exists especially when HRM in private enterprises develops at low level in most of the aspects such as human resources planning, recruitment, training, performance appraisal, etc.This article makes analysis, which is based on the theory of management in change by learners at home and broad as well as businessman in practice, on the main problems in HRM in the period of corporate change, when the work of HRM becomes so important. As the beginning, it makes a definition of change, the factors affecting inside and outside, the opportunities and challenges for private enterprises development, the strength and threat, in order to expatiate the reason and aim of change. Then it makes an introduction to the four steps in HRM changing process, which are exploring, planning, action and integration. The article emphases on the solution to the typical problem in private enterprise HRM, and the writer's opinion and suggestion of solution are put forward in several aspects such as the foundation of learning type organization, compensation policy improvement, performance appraisal improvement and training system improvement. After that, the writer makes a necessary supplement to the qualitative analysis above by adapting an HRM consulting case in a private enterprise in change. Finally, the writer forecasts the trend of change and development of private enterprises HRM in the new time.During the course of writing this article, the writer, who has been working in private enterprise HRM for several years, collecting quantity of relative literature, using the theory learned in MBA system, and with his own experience, makes specific analysis on HRM problem in private enterprises in the period of change, and get the practical approach to solve the problems. So, it may be of some practical value.
