Probe Into The Problem Of Amalgamation Of Industrial Parks And Towns

At present, industrial parks are becoming one of the most important promotive forces to economic growth. For industrial parks within the scope of counties, in order to achieve scale economy and improve collecting and spreading effect, they need to break through the limits of administrative area of towns continuously and form harmonious relationship with towns. As an increasing pattern of regional economy, the amalgamation of industrial parks and towns is contributive to strengthen competitiveness of regional economy, accelerate its growth and progress. So this pattern is worth exploring.Up to now in our country, there lacks of systematic research about the problem of amalgamation of industrial parks and towns. Being aimed at this present conditions and linking interrelated situation, the author defines its connotation. Centering on the theme of amalgamation of industrial parks and towns, this article analyzes the two keys: allocation of profit and transformation of government function. Then this paper conducts empirical analysis on Suzhou industrial park, Gaoming cangjiang industrial park and Kunshan industrial park. At the same time the article expounds the pushing power, drawing power, attracting power, tense power and restrictive elements during amalgamation process in detail. In the end, the author puts forward some instructions about transformation of government function, arrangement of institution, pattern of development and interaction between parks and the construction of towns etc.
