Study On Development Strategy For Super Quality Iron And Steel Products Base Of TISCO

As is foreseen that, after entering into WTO, as well as the rapid development of Chinese economy, china will face much more chances and challenge in the 21st century with the steady process of Chinese reform and opening to the world. Iron and steel industry, as the important fundamental industry of national economy, must continue playing the significant role on the stage of Chinese steady and continually national economy increasing.Tangshan Iron and Steel Co.,ltd (hereafter referred as TISCO) is the huge national combined industry and also one of the ten biggest domestic iron and steel and industries and occupied the important position in the domestic iron and steel industries development history. But with the affection of economy of shortage for long term, TISCO has paid too much attention on the increase of product amount and extension of production scale, but not on the adjustment of the product structure in the past a couple of decades. So until now, the products of TISCO are not only simple in style, but the added value of product is very low, the capability of market competition is very weak. Next ten years will be the vital period for the development of Chinese iron and steel industries .How to plan and carry out the development stratagem of the enterprise correctively will affect the survival and development of iron and steel industries seriously. Base on the study and discussion on personal average iron consumption level of different countries in their industrialisation progress and based on sufficient survey and study on the present condition and development trend of domestic and overseas iron and steel industries, also through synthesize analyses of outside development environment and enterprise internal condition of TISCO, foreseeing TISCO's development scale in the future by applying time sequence analyzing and forecasting model, the future development stratagem and detail target such as production scale, product structure, equipment installation level and performance plan has been proposed in this article. It points out a specific position for the further development of TISCO, ie, building up the super quality iron and steel products base which can make TISCO a corporation with a capacity of ten million tons iron and steel production. At the end of the article, the author also shows his consideration and advice on TISCO's internationalization procedure.
