Domestic Violence And Judicial Remedy

Family is the base of the society. All people would believe that family always is the safe place whenever the society lies in any violence. However, the fact was not that. Domestic violence has exited for a long time. However, because this violence occurs away from the public eyes, it has been very difficult to reveal to the public. Till the 1970's, domestic violence get more and more attention from international society. According to the investigation and research, domestic violence is prevalent in all country of the world. Female and children is the main victims of domestic violence. However, because of the character of domestic violence, the law didn't give it active and overall intervention under the background that domestic violence has been thought as ill-legal behavior. As a result, domestic violence didn't get enough attention and judicial remedy. In this article, from analyzing the definition and the causes of domestic violence, I discuss the failure of the judicial remedy for the domestic violence and then advance how to perfect the judicial remedy for the domestic violence.
