Objective To study the genetic polymorphisms of DYS390, DYS393, DYS437, DYS438, DYS439, DYS447, DYS448, DYS460, H4 locus in 216 unrelated individuals in the Han population , Kunming city ,Yunnan province and forensic evaluation.Methods The DMA were extracted with Chloroform, phenol methods or Chelex-100 method. STR-PCR , Non-denaturing polyacylaminde gel electrophoresis and Sliver staining and ABI377 sequencer were carried out for studing. 216 undividuals were collected from Han nationality in Kunming city.Results Four-Nine types of repeat unit were detected from 9 STRS. The common arrangement of the repeat units was detected at 0. 6019, The lowest arrangement of the repeat units was detected at 0.0046;216 haplotypes were detected, All Haplotypes frequencies are 0.0046, GD=1. 00005934437, S. E. =1. 25 X lO"9,Conclusion This study reveals that DYS390, DYS393, DYS437, DYS438, DYS439, DYS447, DYS448, DYS460, H4 are important genetic markers with good genetic polymorphisms. The results suggest that these loci are valuable genetic markers for paternity testing and personal identification in the forensic science practice.
