The Study Of Business Ethics In Firm Growth

Business ethics study the business morality, a specifically social phenomenon, which does not only study the function and form of virtuous and evil norms in operation from the static direction, but also study the development of moral norms and the molding of characters from the dynamic direction. Through describing and appraising firm morality and all behaviors of stakeholders, the study of business ethics can explore a suitable and profitable pattern of management and bring up moral firm and moral people.At present, the research of firm growth focuses effective factors and growing stages, which always concentrates quantitative characters. However, the study of business ethics as a qualitative character in the dynamic process of firm growth is rare. In complex environments, firm growth has to relate to stakeholders. Overlooking those relations, firm would face to the moral landslide and degenerate all kinds of difficulties.In this connection, this thesis thinks of firm growth as a new visual angle and analyses firm growth and business ethics together, which put forward the ethic character of firm growth through analyzing relations between firm and stakeholders and concludes that business ethics promote and unit during the growth of firm through probing the evolved orientation of business ethics in firm growth. Especially, business can push forward firm growth by means of the actualization of corporate entrepreneurship.This study adopts logic method and analyses from general to peculiar. The train of thought of this thesis is shown as following. First, it describes business ethics generally and raises the ethic essence of firm. Second, it poses the theoretical aim and basis. Third, it puts forward a point that business ethics is a qualitative character of the growth of firm. Forth, through crosswise and vertical analysis, it concludes that business ethics evolves during the firm growth. Last, it raises some suggestions for Chinese firms to efficiently develop business ethics during the growth.The main novel points lie in the new study angle, which is not limited in a simple frame, but observe a broader system of growth in order to study business ethics from inner and outer angles and prove the joint growth of firm and ethics.
