On The Evolution Mechanism Of Industrial Cluster

Industrial cluster has increasingly been paid close attention by governments and scholars, owing to its great effects to the regional industry development. Based on the stage feature shown by existing industrial clusters, this thesis tries to establish a theoretical frame to analyze their evolution mechanism. After systematically classifying existent research conclusion, I make a research in this thesis on the mechanism of occurrence and evolution about industrial clusters' four stages, which are made up of creation, growth, maturity and alteration. And this thesis gives an analysis on four factors of structure, conduct, institution and technology, which have influence on the evolution process of industrial clusters. I make a suggestion that we should take corresponding measures to promote the development of industrial clusters according to their different evolution stages. Moreover, I design some controlling mechanism for industrial clusters with the application of certain principles such as game-equilibrium, market-distribution, incentive-guidance. This thesis not only expounds industrial clusters with theory and model, but also gives costume industrial cluster in Ningbo a microcosmic analysis, and gives industrial agglomeration in Suzhou a macroscopical empirical analysis in order to make these results benefit to strengthening and adjusting the strategies of industrial clusters in Suzhou.
