| The object of this paper is the determination of certain specific methods for the continuing characteristic development of various localities in Zhongshan. During the past five years, the Zhongshan government has succeeded in adjusting its reform policy by gradually transforming state enterprises to private ownership. The adjustment has brought every positive factor into play. As a result Zhongshan has made noticeable progress and developed into one of the most powerful cities in Guang Dong. Its experience has been a powerful example for others to follow. But with the society evolving, there is a new problem facing Zhongshan now, how to continue its future development in the Zhongshan area such as hardware in Xiao Lan, fashion in Sha xi, redwood furniture in Da Cong, lamps in Gu Zheng etc, We may reach a conclusion and summarize its experience: one specialist in one town. Reasonable advice on how Zhongshan might continue its present growth and development will be presented. My proposal is that methods of transferring Zhongshan's current advantage to a competitive advantage, how to attract more investment and how to make Zhongshan's characteristic development the most attractive be defined. Through my study, I will put theory into practice make a careful study of the characteristic development of Zhongshan and put forward long-last development strategy. At the end of the paper, I give some advice of how to make use of the experience.
