Land reservation develop rapidly and become one of popular problem in Chinese land institute reform since shanghai city carried out land reservation and set up the first land -develop center in 1996.in these years, land reservation has achieved marked success, obtains admittance and favorable comment. However, at same time, investing in land reservation faces great risk because of lacking of guidance of scientific theory, imperfect raising-found mechanism and being shorting of the support of necessary system.The paper studies the risk of investing in land reservation and countermeasures how to evade it. And make an inquiry into follow questions: Firstly, the paper analyze the background that Chinese sets up land reservation system, elaborate it's character and target, then, recommend the meaning and character of risk of investing in land reservation, and put forth the step to analyze risk. Secondly, the paper analyzes and discerns the factor that causes the risk from the background of institution, support system etc. Thirdly, the paper set up the model to measure and appraise the degree of the risk. Fourthly, the paper analyze the situation that foreign carry out land reservation, and organize their merits and defect. Finally, the paper put forth the countermeasure for perfecting Chinese land reservation system and evading the risk from theory-study, institution-structure, found-raising mechanism etc.
