The Research Of The Rough Set Application In Dss

Decision Support System is a useful system through which managers can make decisions freely from vast data. Rough Set is a new mathematics theory that can deal with incertitude and incompletion data. With the development of society, Decision Support System and Rough Set both have been showing their excellences, which attracted more and more people to pay more attention to them.The status in quo, structure, characteristic and hotspots in research of Decision Support System and Rough Set were discussed in this paper. Then a project of the implementation to Decision Support System based on Rough Set was brought forward, the key of which was that the reduction of decision table in Decision Support System could be implemented by using the theory of Rough Set.Aimed at the reduction of decision table, the theory of Rough Set was improved in this paper. And a new way to deal with sets was brought forward to make the reduction of decision table more efficient.All of the researches in this paper were based on three examples, through which the Decision Support System based on Rough Set wasimplemented. Then in these examples, the feasibility, validity and practicability of the projects and algorithms mentioned in this paper were validated through comparing and analyzing the result of these systems.
