Customers are ultimate elements in operating activities of all enterprises. Customer services have become one of the most important proportions in competition power of enterprises for its core-product will, sooner or later , become a kind of commodity with increasing competition and maturing market, whether a sort of service or a product. Although there is a chance of improving the features of the core-product, the representations of the customer services binding with the core-product are usually highlighted if competition superiorities are sought in a mature industry.Customer services based on Internet have become a new development of the customer services, due to market competition, superiorities of Internet and customers' demand. It has become a definite truth that the network tools are basic units of the customer services but research on them sometimes lags behind practice because customer services based on Internet are new businesses.Customer services based on Internet, in substance, is succession and development of the traditional customer services, and they come down in one continuous line. Thus, this dissertation begins from the essence of the customer service. First, defining the contents of the customer services, the text discusses the essence of the customer services based on Internet combining the Internet superiorities that is information or communication. Therefore, parts of the customer services that can be finished by Internet could become the customer services based on Internet, which is the succession of the customer service. Second, the customer services, which can be achieved by information or communication and cannot be permeated for some reasons such as ROI (rate of investment), also could become the customer services based on Internet, which is the development of the customer services. Thus, the ascertainment of the contents of the customer services based on Internet lays foundation for classifying the contents of them in terms of the theory of Demand Levels. At last, the core of the article naturally focuses on the research of the network tools for the customer service, which is based on the demands. Hereto, the research on the network tools of the customer services forms a whole system from the origin to the development.
