The idea of humanized management is not a particularly novel idea. Dating back to about 150 years ago, the theory of relationship between people, which has been put forward by the American manager Mayor, was the germ of this theory. With 100 years development, this idea has been deep in people' mind. And it has been endowed new concept. The writer has been more interested in the secret of this theory through looking over large quantities of materials and analyzing the successful case of large corporate in the world in the humanized management aspect. This article tries to make a further research in the concept of humanized management, the foundation of this theory, the differences between this theory and the scientific management theory, the fascination of humanized management and so on. I expect to give some enlightenment and help to those corporate that have been plunged at a loss in the way of management. The humanized management is different from the traditional way of the authority management, which relies on the institution and authority. It considers "relying on people" as the corporate allover new idea of management, "developing people's latent energy" as the main work of management, "respecting every person" as the highest tenet, "shaping the high-quality staff procession" as the base of organizational success, "cohering people's strengths" as the important guarantee of efficient organization and "allover development of people" as the ultimate purpose of management. The humanized management is the management of humoring to humanity by means of helping to realize the personal object to reach the amalgamation of personal object and organizational object, and to help people find his value and orientation. At last, they will reach the demand of highest-level requirement, that is, the self-realizing.There are seven levels in the attitude and realm of working people: apathy, disobey, narrow following, moderate following, real following, joining in and devotion. In most organizations, most of the staff is in the attitude below moderate following. It is difficult to reach the attitude of real following. Devotion is a glorious and perfect realm. The traditional authority management will never realize it. Only through the humanized management, that is respecting people, enlightening people, efficiently encouraging people instead of officer conscious and imperative command, can we realize this higher realm.The humanized management is not the overall negation of scientific management. It requires the corporate transfer the emphasis of institution and sense to the attentions to people. That means admitting and respecting people's sociality and emotion requirement, and creating the conditions for people's overall development and self-realization.The humanized management has a close relationship with the corporate culture. The corporate culture is the culture of people. It is not the leader's subjective forejudge and so-called inspiration, but the crystal of all staff's whole creation. Only the corporate cultural being agreed on by all the staff can be followed together. The corporate culture in the future will maximally reflect the humanized management. Especially the studying organization has been agreed on by more and more corporate. It has been a most recognition that we should develop people's value; create conditions for the people's full development. From the successful case of the worldwide large corporate practice of management, we can clearly find the great glamour of humanized management. Motorola' corporate cultural has only two lines: respecting people constantly and sticking to noble virtue. Wal-Mart's organization idea can be generalized three words: respecting person, serving customer, pursuing preeminence. The largest department store Mash in British take it as the important target of management that they should set up the relying-on relationships with staff, encourage their enthusiasm and latent energy.
