Tentative Analysis Of Chinese Social Security

Abstract: based on the basic theories of social security law and the practices of Chinese social security legislation, the present paper states the social security system and its problems since our liberation, analyzing in a historical way, pointing out that the legislation of our social security is historically inevitable in order to meet the demand of establishing and consummating socialist market economy system. This paper probes in how to advance our social security legislation after analyzing the mistakes and problems appearing in the reform of our social security system. This paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter explains the basic definition and features of social security and social security law, based on the analysis of world social security legislation. Chapter two is the content of Chinese social security system and the changes after the reform. Chapter three mainly analyzes the problems of our social security system and specially points out such complex problems as lagging of the social security legislation, lower rank effect and lack of security funds. Chapter four is based on the analysis of theory source of social security system and the economic and social functions of social security, profoundly analyzing the requirements of our social security legislation, including principles of social security legislation, choices of legislation mode and concrete demands and measures of completing legislation.
