The five-year transition of the China's entry into the WTO being over, the entry consents have been actualized in steps. Along with the thorough openness of the foreign trade authorization, the state-own foreign trade firms are facing the repositioning of their survival and development strategies. China National Electronics Import and Export Corporation (CEIEC) has also amended its own developing strategy and underlined the business of engineering projects in the Gulf region. They have done the effective probing on how to market these projects in the region. On basis of the author's comprehensive survey of the foreign trade firms and similar projects in the foreign trade industry, this thesis gives emphasized analysis on the marketing strategies needed for the engineering projects in the Gulf region, according to a typical engineering project accomplished by CEIEC in the Gulf region.In series, Chapter 1 explains the origin of the project, pictures the business activities and strategies of CEIEC, offers some information of the market environment, analizes trade status and risk condition, details the original place of the project, lists the features of the engineering projects in Iran, tells the project background, describes the feasibility analysis by CEIEC, makes decision of participation into the project and composition of concrete marketing plan by project team, depicts the realization of marketing plan by project team in accordance with the schemed plan step by step.In Chapter 2, by pointing out different questions and giving answers, the author lists most marketing policies and tactics concerned. Through the comparison to other markets in the region, he also mentions the idea on how to generalize these tactics and significance of generalization.
