Chinese Rural Financial Demand And Financial Support System Research

The same problem still exists in Chinese rural financial system after several reforms that rural current financial institutions can't provide effective financial services to satisfy rural capital demands. What is the character of Chinese rural capital demands, and which kind of financial support system can satisfy the demands? We made the research on the character of these demands and rural loan, analyzed the shortage of current financial support system and provided some useful proposals to policy-maker in performing the future reform on Chinese rural finance.The paper was carried out using empirical method, quantitative and qualitative research and field investigation method. The paper consists of six chapters all together. We introduced theoretical research on the activity of peasants, the loan activity of Chinese peasants and development pattern of rural finance in first chapter. During the second chapter we described the history of Chinese rural financial reform. After brief judgments to these reforms we point out the research direction of paper. The following three chapters are the key of the paper. In the third chapter we found the key elements and their relationships that determine rural financial market after the construction of theoretical model. Then we analyzed in detail Chinese rural capital demand and loan activity in the fourth chapter. During the fifth chapter we made the research on Chinese current financial support system and found its shortages in providing the effective service. Based on the research above, we gave the proposals to construct a perfect and effective rural financial support system from three aspects: how to improve the capital demand of peasants, how to build a diversified and competitive rural financial market and how to position the government.
