Analysis Of The Investment Value Of Petrochemical Industry And Listed Companies In China

With the development of the securities market in China to a normative model, investors' investment beliefs are more rational, and more and more investors have accepted the concept of investment in value. Especially in these years, with the rapid development of the security investment fund and the increase of the institutional investors, more and more research of the industry investment value has been adopted in their investing choice by the investors, and proved a good result. Nowadays, it is playing an important role in the securities investment in China.Based on the current situation and developing trend of the petrochemical industry, this report analyses the investment value about the petrochemical industry and compare the investment value between two listed companies- Shanghai petrochemical company and Yangzi petrochemical company.At first, it introduces the current situation and developing trend, the overall arrangement in the world and the position of China in the petrochemical industry from two aspects: oil refining industry and ethylene industry.Secondly, it introduces the current situation of the petrochemical industry in China and the competition situation faced by the petrochemical companies since we joined WTO.Moreover, it analyses the prospect and investment value of the petrochemical industry in China, and concludes that it will welcome a round of high growth in the coming two to three years.Lastly, the report studies the invest value of Shanghai petrochemical company and Yangzi petrochemical company by the analysis of the financial data and profit prospect in 2004 of these two companies. Based on the studies, this report concludes that the rising trend of the petrochemical industry in China will not stop until the end of 2005, and now this industry has a large investment value. In addition, the stock of Yangzi petrochemical company has a huge potential investment value.
