| This paper, based on other scholars' study and by using the combination of qualitative and quantitative study methods, calculates several normal indexes of international competency evaluation such as our tire industry's international market occupancy rate, revealed comparative advantage index, export product quality index, and, meanwhile, completely and systematically analyzes the international competency of tire industry of China through the economic indexes such as radial tire market percentage, tire pattern, finalized product, and tire performance, and conclude that international competency of our tire industry has been achieved in some degree and is being improved. Furthermore, the paper also analyzes the impact on the international competency of our tire industry from the six factors emphasized in Porter's "Diamond System". Finally, the paper puts forward some specific suggestions of further upgrading our international competency.
