FDI In China Pharmacy Circle Industry

April 2004,China government encashed her promises of entering WTO, that China open Pharmacy Circle Industry to foreign investors completely. This means that policy admission has been established to foreign investors entering China Pharmacy Circle Industry. On the other hand, China Pharmacy Circle Industry are undergoing dramatic transform to enterprises becoming bigger and stronger, modernization and adopting more information tech and advanced management measure in operation. At the same time, government enacts some important policy, such as decrease of drug price, division of medical treatment and drug sale, exploitation in country market and GSP certification etc. Totally survival environment is very complicated. This paper will expatiate the issue of FDI in China open Pharmacy Circle Industry under the special surroundings. This paper mainly discusses four levels about FDI in China pharmacy circle industry: Interior and exterior motivation of FDI in China pharmacy circle industry; Policy and industry environment of FDI; The process,dimensions,main body,investment mode,questions and development forecast of FDI in China pharmacy circle industry ; FDI' effects on China pharmacy circle industry. The conclusion is that foreign investors will not get in China at large scale in short run and that FDI will enhance pharmacy market centralization level of China and promote modernization and standardization of China pharmacy circle industry.
