Study On Financing Problems Of Small And Medium-sized Enterprises In Jilin Province

Though SMEs(small and medium-sized enterprises) are playing an important role in thesocial economic development of Jilin Province, yet the growth of them is gravely restricteddue to difficulties in financing. Taking this issue as main topic and utilizing analyticalmethods of both empirical and normative, this paper makes a systematic analysis of thedifficulties of Jilin's SMEs face in financing and reasons behind it, and comes up with someeffective countermeasures to help solving the problem. First, the author states relative theories in the financing of SMEs including "the problemof moral hazard and adverse selection caused by information asymmetry" and "modelresearch of enterprise's financing". After an in-depth empirical analysis of the status quo of SMEs financing, in Chapter 2,the author sums up the reasons for the difficulties Jilin's SMEs face in financing. In Chapter 3, the author introduces international SMEs financing practices andexperience that Jilin Province should use for reference. Based on the above analysis and taking Jilin Province's reality into account, in the lastpart of the paper, the author make suggestions for policymakers to solve the problem of JilinProvince's SMEs financing.
