A Study On Characteristics And Solutions To Sustainable Development Of Scenic Resources In Beijing

One scenic zone is a comprehensive geographical system combining natural and cultural resources. The key of realizing the sustainable development of scenic zones lies in earnest protection of their valuable resources, and achieving an organic unity of economic profits, social benefits and ecological benefits in the construction of development of the zones. Starting with the essence and characteristics of Beijing's scenic resources and zones, guided by the sustainable development theories and practice of scenic areas, and with Beijing's scenic specialties and zones as the research subject, this paper elaborates on the development situation of the specialties of Beijing's scenic resources and its scenic zones, and analyzed their opportunities, advantages and problems. Meanwhile, drawing on the successful experience of gardens and scenic zones from home and abroad, it also explores the developing strategy of Beijing scenic zones and puts forward solutions and approaches to the sustainable development of them.The innovation of the thesis mainly focuses on the following factors:Firstly, it systematically analyses concept and characteristics of scenic resources, sums up the experiences of national gardens from home and abroad, and applies the theory of Sustainable Development to the research of scenic zones.Secondly, combining with the author's own practical experience, it appraises characteristics of scenic resources in Beijing after having a detailed introduction to current situations of the city's scenic resources.Thirdly, based on the scenic resource appraisal, it analyses the current situations of scenic zones in Beijing, and discover the existing related problems.Fourthly, applying the theory of sustainable development, it puts forward the objective of sustainable development and related strategy of Beijing's scenic zones with the comparison of domestic and overseas experiences, that is, sustainable development, comprehensive protection, scientific management, ecological tourism, developing orderly and moderately, harmoniously.Fifthly, considering the strategic goal, it puts forwards solutions and advice to sustainable development of scenic zones in Beijing according to resource protection, planning construction and scientific management.
