Research On The Innovations Of China Forestry Subsidy Policies Based On WTO "Green Box Policies"

"Green Box Policies" in WTO 《Agreement on Agriculture》 are such international regulations that standard agricultural subsidy policies of member states. At the moment, member states are making or adjusting their agricultural subsidy policies according to "Green Box Policies" one after another. Forestry is the important component of agriculture, so after entrance into WTO, in order to accelerate sustainable development of forestry, we should also consider how to take advantage of "Green Box Policies" and how to perfect forestry subsidy policies of our own country. The new institutional economics and public choice theory were applied in a flexible way to study this important problem systematically. What was "Green Box Policies" was briefly discussed at the beginning. And then, the following three crucial aspects were successively probed into: It was essential for us to advance China forestry development according to "Green Box Policies"; Compared with "Green Box Policies", the current situations and some features of China forestry subsidy policies were portrayed thoroughly; To improve China forestry subsidy policies on the basis of "Green Box Policies", some impediments as well as favorable conditions were analyzed. After taking national conditions and actual situations of our forestry into account, some tentative ideas on how to increasingly perfect China forestry subsidy policies in accordance with "Green Box Policies" were eventually put forward.
