Study On National Defence Thought In Modern Times Of China

Since the Opium War (1840-1842), the national defence of our country has gone through unprecedented destruction and weakening. Many thinkers , politicians have pondered over the national defence during that time. They exert an important influence on the national defence of our country about the thought theory of the national defence, establish the foundation to the profound transmutation constantly for the military thinking in modern times in China. Have far-reaching influence on such fields as the economy , politics , culture of our country ,etc. too at the same time. By the look of historical data, the thought of national defence of our country has gone through a course of development. Threaten Anti-Japanese War from the warship canon of Western imperialist powers, face the threat in such imperialism as the America and Soviet Union ,etc. again after founding the state, is it regard peace and development as theme our country there is a dispute about frontier territory ,etc. under the situation while being contemporary to reach and then, the national defence thought is systematized to the maturing, some experience and lesson during that time is worth summarizing. No matter national defence thought in our country's military history, or occupy the important position in the history of thought.This text describes the national defence thought in modern times in China from three respects mainly.
