The Theory And Pratice Study On Project Claim

Claim is a complicated works about project management. Both owners and contractors have paid much attention to it, because of the great economy benefits it involves. As competition in the international project contracting market becomes increasingly fierce, winning contract at low price is becoming popular, the project claim is becoming more important.This paper studies claim, showed it's concept, classification, effect and factors, systematically analyzed claim risks in project management, proceeding with the uncertainty of project. Studied uncertain risk factors in project execution period, identification of the risk factors, showed ways to reduce claim risks. There are two aspects in the paper which refers to project's time claim and cost claim, after comprehensively and deeply studied bother of them, management principles and calculating model of time claim and cost claim are listed.
