| 1．The background of the ResearchDuring these years, the automotive industry developed quickly, government issued many policies for encouraging personal automotive consumes. At the same time, the competition of whole automotive industry become more and more tensely. In this situation, most of the interior part company focus on the new project launch. How to gain the new project, how to make sure the project can get the profit, how about the risk, all of these need the company do the further and detailed feasibility research for new project. 2．The content of ResearchThe Research was divided in nine parts. Firstly, the paper analysis the whole status of China automotive market and developing trend, then got the conclusion that the standard level car will become the main market for family car buyers based on national industry policy and resident consumption trend. Secondly, the paper introduces the project background that Bora A4 car seat will be localized. For clear understanding of project, paper introduced Fawer-Johnson Controls, Johnson Controls, Fawer company from their history, size, business area, technical, market occupation rate etc. According automotive interior products characteristic and competition environment, paper defined the primary, standard, luxury interior parts level and analyses the competition status, point out the importance sense of win this project for Fawer-Johnson Controls. Paper also brings the idea that "Lower cost is the main way to win a new project". When I made the market forecast, the way of "User's requirement directly survey", "Information survey" were used for statistics and forecast the Bora A4 market. The paper states the new way for dividing automotive interior parts lifetime. The index of dividing automotive products lifetime should be not only considered sales increasing rate, but also the rate for sale volume compare with capacity volume. For example, if the sale volume is only reach 30-80% capacity volume, the products should belong to growing stage. When this rate exceeds 85%, the products should belong to mature stage.The project was considered to use additional shift to fulfill requirement increase so as to reduce invest and risk due to the market fluctuation in the project beginning. When made equipment purchasing list, local equipment and tool was also considered so as to reduce invest. For key production process, the import equipments were considered to be the first selection. HS & E design fully considered implement high technical material, equipment, and technology. For example, reduce the labor intensity by using automatic machine; install alarm equipment and monitor system to avoid the hurt due to dangerous operation; install controller to separate operator from poison environment when operating machine, so as to reduce the possibility of healthy problem happen.The resources of project need are analyzed in section fifth. In this section, paper designs a new logistics way for solving the purchasing and logistics problems more efficiency. For the suppliers of CKD parts are spread at whole European continent, it is very difficult for FJC to control the logistics and purchasing. The solving way is to select a logistic service company in Europe to responsible for consolidate the parts. This company will be authorized by Fawer-Johnson Controls to contact with suppliers and take the goods by trailers from vendor. After the goods are consolidated at warehouse, logistic company inspects the quality and store them in warehouse, then the logistic company will load the parts into container according the material requirement schedule released by FJC. Then prepare well the documents related with export and hand over the container to forwarder. In paper, also emphasized that the fixity of shipment terms is most important when select forwarder.
