Analysis Of Zhenjiang's Industry Structure & Research Of Adjustment Policy

An ill-structured industry and bad industrial organization will influence the behavior of micro economic entities and the macro economy. The building of a well-structured industry is the critical problem of Zhenjiang city. Based on the theory of industrial structure, the paper studies the choice of leading industry, and analyzes the advantage and weakness of Zhenjiang's industry, and finally puts forward some suggestions for the adjustment of Zhenjiang's industrial policy. The paper firstly discusses the necessities of this adjustment. As a city abundant in resource, restricted by the non-renewable resources, Zhenjiang must upgrade its industrial structure. And meanwhile, the technical improvement accelerates the development of new industry, thus forces the transition of the city abundant in resource to an ecological city. Secondly, by comparing the Zhenjiang's industrial structure to other cities and districts, and by SPSS tools of factor analysis method and clustering method, the paper determines the leading industry of Zhenjiang city. Finally, the paper discusses some problems in the development of Zhenjiang's industry, which are isomorphic industrial structure and the non consistency of the adjustment and alternative of leading industry. And some suggestions are put forward for the adjustment of Zhenjiang's industrial policy.
