Hot competition has never been stopped in labor-intensive textile and apparel industry. Lots of textile/garment dealers are very much interested in rich but cheap fabric/trim sales markets, and they prefer to make clothes products by means of such cheap labor force so as to sell products to all over the world for more profit. Within the garment industry, the always-high of talent losing rate and the compensation issue have been one of the most important factors to puzzle the operation of the industry. Under such circumstances, these questions, that how Apparel Net Limited should carry out its business in China, how its business can be strongly based so as to prevent early failure, and how to fix the compensation problem in the Human Resource Management so as to establish the compensation competence, should be answered and resolved immediately by the top management.The following issues in the thesis will be studied as follows:1. Theoretical and practical analysis against the competence of corporation compensation system. Not only the intrinsic meaning of compensation system is discussed, but the macro/micro environment while designing the system is analyzed; Furthermore, the compensation systems between USA, Japan and Germany are compared, and how the compensation system brings competence to corporation is concluded.2. Comprehensive analysis on the internal & external environment of Apparel Net Ltd. The author made a market research on compensation questionnaire all over the country, especially in Guangdong and analyzed the result statistically, which provides strong reference to the company's compensation policy.3. The author created her own Compensation Model on the basis of studying the Compensation Model designed by Milkovich & Newman and the practical compensation model designed by LLC, as well as the compensation market research summary and the company's real situation. The implementation of the model has proved its competence. Meanwhile the author has also described the related supporting fields which HRManagement should involve.4. Discussion on the effective principles while designing compensation system and the organization support to properly carry out the system.5. Last but not least, the author's view on how to effectively manage the established compensation system.The conclusions the author has summarized from the thesis will be the valuable ideas and reference to the compensation management, and practical basis for compensation designing of Apparel Net Limited.
