The state-owned assets are significant and fundamental to China's economy and also the mainly resource for the government revenue. However, the wastage and infringement of the state-owned assets is a serious problem in recent years and obviously this situation is still deteriorating.In regarding of the legal protection of the state-owned assets, the author tries to probe the deep problems existing in the science of law from the following two aspects. Firstly, the author indicates and enumerates the legal rules relating the protection of the state-owned assets in the main branches of law, meanwhile, analyzes existing problems among those laws and expounds his views. Secondly, considering the business activities are tremendously increasing and getting complex each day, the author additionally stresses the problems in those laws concerning the regulation of business activities, such aspossession transfer of assets, merge and acquisition, estimate and liquidation of assets, because more and more state-owned assets are inevitably involved in business transactions today. Apart from the content above mentioned, the author also puts forward the proposals for constructing the supervising and regulating system for the state-owned assets.
