After carrying on the reform taking family-contract responsibility system as main content in the countryside of our country, it has bring the deep change of the rural land system, and has promoted the development of agriculture's productivity greatly. But the current rural land system is facing the demand of the reform, the research on the rural land system reform becomes the focus that academy is being probed into. This paper regards rural land, this development trend of appropriate appropriate scale of operation, as the foundation of studying, after summarize description to the current rural land system of our country, then it probes into restriction factor existed from the current rural land system to the appropriate scale of operation of rural land.No matter in encouraging population growth, or in protecting cultivated land and rural land to circulate etc., the current rural land systems have all adversely affected appropriate appropriate scale of operation of the land. This makes management of the rural land deviate from the direction. So it is an important subject of land macro-management to dispel the adverse effect in these respects of rural land system, it is the inevitable demand for agricultural development of our country.There are many views about the rural land system reform: Farmland nationalization theory , farmland privatization theory , three kinds of ownership subjects theory , keeping and perfecting land collective ownship ,etc. Directions far from each other of the rura land system reform in which these reform schemes offer, each have pros and cons too. This text has been proposed on the basis of perfecting and developing collective ownship of rural land, give peasants the permanent right to use the land , make it become intact land property right, from the restraint terms of the rural land system reform. The redesign of this land system, has opened up the road for the appropriate scale of operation of rural land, has dispelled the obstacle,and will protect peasants' land rights and interests effectively at the same time .
