The aims of building the well-off society was raised in CPC's 16~th Congress and the issues of agriculture, rural and farmers are paid more attention to once again. In China, as an important economic unit in rural areas, the growth of households' income has been the focus to solve the issues of agriculture, rural and fanner.At present, there exist many factors influencing the growth of households' income, and the decision-making power of household production is one of the most important factors. This paper, based on analyzing decision-making power of household production, and the data of the fixed households in Shandong province, adopting the method of combining normative analysis with empirical analysis, studies the roles of the transition of households' decision-making power between the generations on the income growth of farmers.The research process is as following: based on analyzing the transition of households' decision-making power between the generations, taking the method of combining normative analysis with questionnaires studies the roles of the transition of households' decision-making power between the generations on the income growth of farmers.The major research contents include:(1) The external factors influencing IGFH include the national policies and measures, and farmers' employment environment and operating environment provided by the nation et al. The internal factors influencing IGFH mainly include the farmers' comprehensive technological qualities. As the main labors of family economy, their educational quality is very important for the economic development.(2) As a father, he can play the role of the host in the family only if he has the ability to increase the income of the family, otherwise, his host power will be challenged by his eldest son who has more abilities than him. Thus, the family members who are in subordinate status would have more power than before or even cause the transition of the decision-making power.(3) By the transition of the decision-making power, the rate of the income from non-agricultural in the whole income become more and more after the young generation hosting the power, which has a close relation with China's open and reform policy.(4) The research results indicate that the households' income increases more rapid after the young with more education become the host of the family. And the young get more respect and support from the elder generations after the family getting richer.(5) The transition of the decision-making power between generations results in some new changes of the households. The new characteristics of the household provide new ways to develop economy and to raise the educational level of farmers, and to realize the prosperity of the wholecountry.(6) The governments of various level and theoretical researchers should pay more attention to the transition of decision-making power. The guidance governments and media will lead the transferring of people's ideas and speed up the transition process, so as to enhance the increase of family economy and to realize the well-being society.(7) Because of the inadequate experience of the young, their impudence and innocence may bring some negative effects on the family economy, which calls for a higher requirement for the young. The research will pay attention to this problem and search for the new solutions as well.The aim of developing family economy is to realize the common wealth of farmers. According to the plenty of data, this paper analyzes the issues related to the development of family economy, and find out an effective solution-transition of decision-making power, which is very important to promote the further development of family economy.
