Research On Returning Cultivated Land To Forestland Or Grassland And Adjustment Of Agriculture Industry Structure In Guyuan County

Returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland is a complex system engineering, it relates to social and economic sustainable development of different regions. It is an important support to ecological construction in the north transitional agro-pasture area and an important approach to change regional eco-environment situation. How to improve people's income is the emphasis and difficulty of returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland, and it is the key to actualize the engineering successfully. To a particular region, the development of economy and increment of peasant's income depends construction of ecological environment and the optimum of industry structure. The practice prove that returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland is the important measure of ecological construction and the essential way of adjustment of industry structure.So, under the guide of sustainable development theory, with Guyuan County in Bashang Plateau, a typical agro-forestry-pastoral ectone, as the research object, the paper analyses the effects returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland on adjustment of land use structure, and illustrates the cooperation mechanism of returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland and adjustment of agriculture industry structure. Based on the study, the paper points out measures of adjustment of agriculture industry structure and dominant industry of Guyuan County. Moreover, the reseach probes the sustainable development way of eco-economy.This dissertation is five parts. Part one is summarizes the background and important problems of engineering of returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland, narrates the objective, meanings and thoughts in the research. Part two expounds the practice and theories about returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland in home and abroad, and put forwards the development direction. Part three summarizes Guyuan's situation and important eco-environment problems, and evaluates sustainable development capability of Guyuan County, the result indicate that Guyuan County is in the unsustainable development phase.In part four, it analyses the economy development and eco-environment construction request of returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland, probes the restricted factors, and points out the target of conversion of cropland. Furthermore,it illustrates the relations of returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland and adjustment of agriculture industry structure, and regards that returning cultivated land to forestland or grassland is the efficient measure of optimizing land use, adjustment of agriculture industry structure and promoting sustainable development of eco-economy.In part five, beginning with the relations between conversion of cropland and adjustment of agriculture industry structure, on the basis of the analyses of change tendency of agriculture industry structure, it put forwards dominant industry and regards that Guyuan should put emphasis on the development of animal husbandry.
