Scientifically analyzing different periods social stratum of China is a very important basis for CPC to make policies for united front, and a fundamental condition to establish, strengthen and develop united front. Since reform and opening-up, some new changes have appeared in the social stratum composition of China. The outstanding behavior is the changes in basic social forces, such as already existing worker, peasant, intellectual and the appearance of new social stratum. These new changes have great influence on the development of united front of the new stage. This paper analyzes the new changes of social stratum composition of china and its impact on united front, gives working train of thought to develop the united front under the new situation. This paper regards Marxism theory as guidelines, summarizes the theory experience of Marxism united front and historical development of the united front of CPC in an all- round way, and induces the valuable experience of CPC in dealing with the relation of social stratum and consolidate the united front since the foundation of new China and before opening-up. On the basis of explaining the new change of social stratum composition of the present stage, the paper summarizes its characteristic and reason, emphasizes its characteristic of dynamics, modernity, multi-level, non-antagonistic etc. When analyzing the new impact on united front of social stratum composition's change, the author has stressed it's request of united front in these aspects, such as socialization, modernization, institutionalization. Finally, the author puts forward relevant concrete countermeasure and suggestion.
