The Research On The United Front Work Concerning New Social Stratum In The New Century Period

The structure of social class reflects a country's basic national conditions. Scientific analysis on the social class of different period is the premise and foundation of Chinese Communist party to establish, consolidate and develop the united front as well as the important basis of making united front policy. Since the reform and opening up, our country society went into a rapid transition. With the establishment and development of the socialist market economic system, China's social class structure have occurred profound changes. The original social structure of working-class, farmers class and intelligentsia class has gradually being broken, and it has appeared the new social stratum which is mainly comprised by the nonpublic economy personages and freedom of employment intellectuals. The emergence of the new social stratum had the significant influence on the social basis, internal structure and the relationship between members of the united front. The new social stratum become the Chinese Communist party's new field in united front work and mass work in the new century period. How to well do the united front work concerning the new social stratum has become the important theoretical and practical problem of the the United Front Work in the New Century Period.This paper based on the basic national conditions that is China's reform and opening up and socialist modernization construction, and the new situation and tasks which is the united front face to in the new century period. And adhere to the united front theory of sinicization marxism as the guide, this paper launched research from four respects-content by sociology, politics, history and other related discipline basic theory and method. The first part discussed in the production and development about new social strata. This part Mainly expounded the emergence and development social conditions, development course, the realistic situation and basic characteristics of the new social stratum. The second part is the status and role of the new social stratum. It is mainly from three aspects to explain the new social stratum in reform and opening up and socialist modernization. The third part is the status of the new social stratum in united front work. This part pointed out that the united front work concerning new social stratum is the need of consolidating and developing the united front,is the need of consolidating the Party's class foundation and expanding its mass base, is the need of constructing socialist harmonious society. The fourth part is the basic ideas for united front work concerning new social stratum in the new century period. The united front should be according to the characteristics of the new social stratum, and make innovations in principle, and expand somewhat on the content of the working mechanism, and improve the methods and break the organization carrier in the united front work concerning new social stratum in the new century period, under the foundation of keeping the policy of the united front in succession and stability. To maximize the strength of the new social stratum, and to make it truly becomes the important strength that the Chinese Communist Party depends on leading national people's all-round to construct the well-off society, the rapid advance of socialist modernization construction and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
