The bottleneck,which solves these problems, lies in the improvement of peasant's quality. In our country,peasants are the main body of the agriculture and the host in the countryside and the mainstaybuilding the well-off society in an all-round way. The level of its quality is influencing thebuilding process of the well-off society in an all-round way directly. So, it is the mostimportant thing of building the well-off society in an all-round way to improve peasant'squality. The article is divided into 3 chapters altogether: Chapter 1 introduces the meaning ofpeasant's quality, and expound the era meaning of developing the peasant of quality fromangle of knowledge economy, international competition, the development of the society andpeasant. Chapter 2 introduces our country peasant's current situation and factors influencingthe raise of peasant quality. Historical reason: feudal autocratic system, feudal economicsystem, feudal cultural are the main factor of causing innovation consciousness, ideologicalossification, conservative and uncompetitive of peasant. Modern reason: planned economy,the structure of urban and rural, agricultural technology popularization are the main factorsthat cause the peasant's low quality.
