The Study On The Peasant's Comprehensive Quality In The Process Of Building A New Socialist Countryside

Building a new socialist countryside is an important historic task in the process of China's modernization, also a manifestation in the practicing the scientific concept of development. It is directly related to the construction of China's socialist harmonious society and the process of building a well-off society. It also influenced the early realization of the goal of socialist modernization. Undeniably, there are many restricted factors in building the new socialist countryside, such as backward rural economic development, more people and few lands. But fundamentally speaking, the peasant's quality behind the building of the new socialist countryside is the most important constraining factor because it is the basis that other factors factions. Therefore, it is the urgent requirement and also the important task of building the new socialist countryside to cultivate the new peasant who has culture, understand technology and grasp management skill. Building the new socialist countryside must cultivate the new socialist peasant. In terms of the situation of the peasant's quality and building the new socialist countryside, We must propose the specific strategies and recommendations for improving their quality, which enhance their all-round development in practice, also contribute to building the new socialist countryside, realizing the virtuous interaction between the urban and rural areas, promoting China's economic and social development.Following the extensive reference research, theoretical analysis, data collection, this paper studies the peasant's quality problems from three aspects in the process of building the new socialist countryside. The first part illustrates the process of building new socialist countryside in China, the meaning of peasant's quality, especially focuses on the reason why building the socialist new countryside must be improve the peasant's quality. The second part analyses the achievement which China's peasant's quality was improved and the problems which still exist, points out that their quality is not suited for building the new socialist countryside. According to the reality of building the socialist new countryside, the third part proposes the measures improving the peasant's quality, which includes developing rural education to enhance their cultural quality, increasing agricultural science and technology to improve their technology quality, strengthening the management guidance to promote their management quality, advancing the countryside spiritual civilization construction to actively increase their ideological and moral quality, improving rural medical and health conditions to heighten their physical quality. This paper describes the peasant's quality tightly around the reality of building the new socialist countryside, elaborates emphatically the peasant's culture quality, the technical quality and the management quality which the socialist new countryside needs, draws lessons from foreign peasant's improving the quality, which has the theoretical and practical significance for improving the peasant's quality and building the new socialist countryside.
