Socialist Harmonious Culture Research

Socialist Harmonious Culture takes harmonious thought as inner core and value orientation and the core content includes the worship of harmonious logos and the expression of harmonious spirit. In Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth CPC Central Committee, it's certainly pointed that the important mission of building socialist harmonious society is to develop socialist harmonious culture. This paper theoretically expounds the socialist harmonious culture's scientific sense, key characteristics and important significance, especially emphasizing that the rich content is involved in the foundation of harmonious culture of which the basis is the socialist core value system.The paper is divided into five parts. Chapter one presents background of socialist harmonious culture and the current situation of academic circles researching socialist harmonious culture, and this chapter is the summary of the whole paper. Chapter two elaborates the scientific meaning of socialist harmonious culture and makes the definition of socialist harmonious culture, which points out that the socialist harmonious culture is identical with the spiritual civilization publicized in the period of reform and opening-up. Chapter three is key section of the paper. In this chapter, it's highlighted that the important proposition is that socialist core spirit system is the basis of the foundation of harmonious culture, and the author respectively discusses the relationships among Guiding Theory of Marxism, Socialist Common Views, national spirit and time spirit, Socialist Concept of Honor and Disgrace and socialist harmonious culture from four aspects of socialist core system. Chapter four analyses the characteristics of socialist harmonious culture and presents that socialist culture's character unifies simple element and multi-element, inheritance and creativity, human being's integrated development and social sound development, and civil spirit and science spirit. Chapter five elaborates the great contribution of socialist harmonious culture to the building of socialist harmonious society, to the promotion of soft power of Chinese culture and to the foundation of harmonious world.
