The Significance And Strategy Of The Socialist Core Value System Construction For Promoting The Building Of A Harmonious Culture

The Chinese Communist Party's Sixth Plenary Session of Sixteenth Conference first clearly put forward the task of "Constructing the Socialist Core Value System". In the 17th congress report, comrade Hu Jintao explicitly pointed out that the Socialist Core Value System is reflected of the essence of socialist ideology. To construct a socialist harmonious society, is the great strategic task, putting forward based on the overall layout of the Chinese characteristic socialism of our party.Guided by the Marxism and Chinese characteristic socialism theory system, using literature conference and comparative analysis methods, the thesis discusses the core value system of socialist construction significance and strategies of promoting harmonious culture construction.The thesis consists three chapters. The first chapter discusses the era background and its significance of the Socialist Core Value System when it is proposed. The thesis combines both domestic and international situation, the diversification of domestic people and the impact of international globalization, pointing out the era background when the Socialist Core Value System m is proposed. This paper explains four significance of the Socialist Core Value System of four significance, as it is to be: leading contemporary social ideological trend, representing the essence of era spirit, reflecting "people-oriented" and providing ethics. Based on analyzing the background and significance, the thesis proposed that the Socialist Core Value System is China's fundamental of constructing the harmonious culture, playing a important role in guiding social classes and fields in the ideological level . The important influence will be definitly throughout the whole construction process, in respects of socialist market economy, socialist democracy, advanced socialist culture. As "the essence of time spirit", is the essence of the Socialist Core Value System is, " another important achievement of our party theory innovation, the major move of strengthening socialist harmonious culture, and a harmonious society construction. It will have a great and far-reaching significance on deepening understanding of socialism essence, and comprehensively promoting the great cause of socialism".The second chapter discusses the core value system of socialist construction is the fundamental of harmonious culture construction. The thesis analyzes the Socialist Core Value System is the soul of socialist cultural, the fundamental of keeping the socialist culture independent. Without the Socialist Core Value System, socialist culture will lose the fundamental, and get lost. The thesis elaborates the characteristics of the Socialist Core Value System, including advanced, universality, times and realizable quality. The paper analyzes the relation of the socialist core value system and harmonious culture -- the Socialist Core Value System is the basis of harmonious culture construction, and harmonious culture construction is the expression of the core value system of socialist forms. The thesis expounds the effort on the core value system of socialist as the fundamental necessity harmonious culture construction, mainly combined with the changes of international pattern, with the new challenge of science and technology development, a new task of the rapid development of China's society and the new problems with ideological diversification of social transition.The third chapter discusses the strategy of promoting the socialist harmonious culture construction, guided by the Socialist Core Value System, This part is consisted of three parts. In the report of the 17th Party Congress, "constructing the socialist core value system" as a primary task of culture construction, the report put forward the target, "to construct harmonious culture", "to promote Chinese culture", "to propel cultural innovation", and to promote socialist cultural greater development and prosperity. Constructing the socialist core value system and developing harmonious culture is both the important task of our country culture construction. The Socialist Core Value System provides the direction to the harmonious culture development, meanwhile the development of harmonious culture also promotes the construction of the Socialist Core Value System.
