The Critique And Its Implication Of Postmodernism On Modernity

Postmodernism created in 1960's in developed Western countries, is a process involving a variety of fields of social and cultural trends, to negate, beyond the theoretical basis for the Western mainstream, ways of thinking, values as the basic feature of contemporary Western social and economic, politics, science and technology situation in culture reflected. Postmodernism has its deep social and cultural roots in the modern crisis which has become increasingly prominent issues in the modern reflection and criticism in the generation and development. The face of the problems in the process of modernization, modernity, postmodernism carried out the most intense and thorough reflection and criticism. The current period, developed countries facing with the problems come about in the process of modernization can do nothing, while latecomer countries are avid pursuit of modernization. As a developing country, China, is established and in the pursuit of the goal of socialist modernization. Carding and drawing on modern post-modernism of reflection and criticism, no doubt has great theoretical and practical significance.This article includes a total of three parts: the first part combs the meaning and problems of modernity to explain the evolution of mechanisms for the formation of modernity and crisis. The second part analyzes the background of postmodernism, infrastructure and content, focusing on outline of post-modernist reflection of modern criticism, and describes the post-modernism itself faces difficulties. Part III analyzes the status quo of China's modernization and put forward a reasonable postmodernism inner, to avoid the tortuous process of modernization which the western countries have gone through and promote China's modernization construction.
