A Study On The Theoretical Quality Of The Traditional People-oriented Thoughts And Its Modern Transformation

People-oriented thoughts is an important component of political ideology in ancient China. How to make a systematic and comprehensive analysis on traditional People-oriented thoughts, is related to grasp the fundamental values of the Chinese political culture, and also related to the right choice, criticism and inheritance of traditional culture. Fully understand and accurately summarize the theory of traditional people-oriented thoughts is the key point of a reasonable interpretation about the numerous and changeful people-oriented thoughts. By systematically demonstrating, this paper found that people-oriented thoughts is the outline in Ancient China which has more "bases" of political thoughts. And this thoughts which throughout the whole system of political thoughts has some common, stable, consistent theory quality including the following aspects: Firstly,the unremittingly seeking for people's reasonable political status. Secondly,the great concern for the people's survival. Thirdly, the Pragmatic spirit about real politics which has both resistance and coordination quality. Just for these qualities , traditional people-oriented thoughts acted as an important bridge of the "Western Learning spreading to the east" in recent China. Basing on those theoretical qualities, many advanced Chinese had given a rational explanation for why the Western democratic countries were strong and rich, and also made some effective salvation projects for our nation. Their practice had become a significant trend in the evolution of political thoughts in modern China. In many ways, Chinese Marxism has fitted the theoretical qualities of the traditional people-oriented thoughts, and use the traditional ideas and materials to enrich Marxism. In this way ,we make it a ideological power of revolution and construction. The Communist Party of China governs the nation only for people's fundamental interests, and eternally be in pursuit of promoting and achieving people's all-round development. This is an inheritance and transcendence of the traditional people-oriented thoughts.
