The Investigating Study On The Problems Of Rural Medical Assistance In Dongxiang Ethnic Group Autonomous County

Rural medical assistance is the significant healthy construction in China, but also an altitudinal focus in society, related to the health of the peasant masses, related to the protection of rural productive forces, and to revitalize the rural economy, to maintain rural social development and stability. In recent years, "medical treatment is difficult and expensive" about the masses, the problem is very prominent. Minority areas of the rural population, because income is not high, hard to bear the high cost of medicines, the sick can not be timely medical care, the minor illnesses dragged into the major illness, resulting in trapped a vicious circle about"because of pathogenic poor, impoverished by hospitalization." Medical and health conditions are relatively backward and outdated medical equipment, medical team development situation is not optimistic about the low level of medical assistance. These problems are needed to solve urgently. Therefore, the study of rural medical assistance has great significance to improve the health status of rural poor people in minority areas, rural medical assistance can give basic and quality assurance of health services to rural poor people in minority areas, in favor of the accessibility of health services in minority areas and the availability of fairness in terms of the improvement, make for the health of residents in minority areas, beneficial to the unity, stability and development in minority areas, conductive to unity, mutual assistance and harmony for the people of all ethnic groups.From the angle view of Ethnology, combined with historical documentation, takes Zuitou village in Wangji township as the research object, and systematically investigates and studies the practice.This dissertation consists of six chapters.The first chapter, which is the prolegomenon of the dissertation, is mainly about the purpose of topic, meanings of study, research methods, thoughts and the basic situation, the domestic and the international current research conditions. The second chapter is about of the medical and health work in Dongxiang, including the medical institutions, medical team, the system of rural cooperative medical and health care services, disease control and prevention, traditional folk medical practices, featured herbs. The third chapter is mainly a description to the status of rural medical assistance and the policies. The fourth chapter analysis and interprets rural medical assistance from the angle view of Assistance and Folk medical about religion. The fifth chapter interprets the affect of rural medical assistance, based on natural disasters, social and economic development, education, population, traditional concepts and ideas.The sixth chapter is a further analysis and peroration to the topic. In this part the author analysis the significance of rural medical assistance in Dongxiang Ethnic Group Autonomous County, and points out some suggestions and countermeasures to be taken in order to sound and fast development of rural medical assistance.
