Study Of Government Management For Urban Traffic Congestion Problems

Urban traffic congestion is a serious problem in the process of urban development all over the world, affecting the city's social and economic development. With the rapid development of the society and economy, urbanization process develops more and more quickly. At present, China's urban transport development lags behind the needs of city development. Therefore, it is an urgent task that we take some means to alleviate urban traffic congestion. This article is based in the current situation of urban traffic congestion, comprehensively using the supply of public goods theory, government regulation theory, market failure and government intervention theory, with traffic data of Dalian City, trying to control urban traffic congestion in an effective way. Firstly, this article discusses the background of writing and theory, practical significance, and the overall structure of the papers describe. Secondly, we are in base of investigation and analysis of traffic data, starting from the situation of Dalian traffic congestion, using the predict, estimation methods, discussed the situation of traffic congestion and the reasons. Finally, we make out some proposals for urban traffic congestion from aspects of management,experience and legislation, according to foreign successful models, the present stage of overall level of city development and the actual situation of Dalian.This article makes out some proposal and suggestion based on comprehensive analysis and argumentation, such as priority development of bus, intellgent traffic management model. It has certain practical meaning, and also has some reference for other cities in the same traffic situation.
