International law is a combination of principles, rules and institutions that are legally binding and are used to adjust the rights and obligations among international actors, mainly among states. The International law has played a large role in the mitigation of international contradictions and conflicts, the safeguarding of world peace and security and the promotion of international cooperation and development since the International law has been produced. However, with the depth of globalization after World War II, the international situation is changing the international community, international social contradictions conflicts increased over the years, the international law faced with the power doctrine, challenges and impact of hegemonic politics in solving these problems, and it gradually make international law can't play its proper role in contemporary international relations. With the Constructivism rise in the 90th in the last century, the relevant theories of Constructivism international to explain why international law is"law"of the function, especially Conceptual Constructs National Interests theory of Constructivism International Relations and national interests greatly improved the status of international law, and greatly have valid explanations for contemporary international relations. The author plans to use Constructivism International Relations, in particular Conceptual Constructs National Interests theory to study and explain for the role of international law in contemporary international relations.The paper plan to use the methods of documents and analyses and sum up, through comparative analysis, Through comparative and analysis , it can concludes that not only the international law has a causal role in contemporary international relations in perspective of Constructivism, but also it has a construction role in perspective of Constructivism. The research method of this paper is mainly, to start with the definition of international relations and international law, through the deduction of the binary interaction of the international law and international relations, firstly analyses of the theoretical basis and practical needs of the role of international law in contemporary international relations in contemporary international relations in perspective of Constructivism. Further analyses of the dilemma and the reason the role of international law in contemporary international relations faced. Finally, to use the relevant theories of in contemporary international relations to provide with relevant and appropriate explain paths for the role of international law in contemporary international relations. Concretely speaking is the international law is provided with the specific functions of construct national identity, national interests, and the international order.In summary, I hope that I can do my bit for establishing a fair and just international order, building a harmonious world by means of the research.
