May 2008 shocked the world the disaster of windstorms in Myanmar, but Myanmar's military government refused to rescue from the United States ,so suffering from the extension of the Western media criticism, and even the media to advocate the use of force to resolve the military government。Because the military government of Burma is lack of legitimacy . In Southeast Asia, the overwhelming majority of countries with "emerging Asia" and to achieve national reconciliation, economic development, countries in transition to democracy, Only the military government of Burma has been ruled as long as two decades to promote the democratization process of the abnormal slow. In view of the uniqueness of the Burmese regime, this article will be the democratization process in Myanmar as the research object, with a view to the democratization process in Myanmar through the historical research, the status quo analysis, to find the uniqueness of the political in Myanmar, and trying to grasp the direction of its development.In this paper, the first part of the principal of democracy, defined the concept of democratization, and the theory of democratization, in order to make preparations for the following analysis.In this paper, the second part of the post-World War II Myanmar is divided into four periods, the first review of history, and then each time from the political, economic, national point of view to find their impact on the democratization process.This article will start the third part of the impact of the democratization process in Myanmar analysis, mainly from the economic development factors, the three major political forces in Myanmar game of mutual influence, ethnic and religious factors, as well as the impact of external forces in the four aspects one by one to analyzeIn this paper, the fourth part of the democratization process in Myanmar will find the experience and lessons learned, and from the process of democratization of China to find the Enlightenment.In the concluding part, the author sums up the democratization process in Myanmar 20 years, and according to an analysis of the actual situation. This article holds that: the military juntas to give up power conditions are not yet ripe, the military government of Myanmar will continue to lead in promoting democratization; Myanmar is not the most in need of political reform, but economic development.
